Issue:
Programming ATV930 to run at constant speed.
Product Line:
Altivar Process ATV600 and ATV900 series
Resolution:
To run, any drive needs both a run command (to start running) and a speed reference (how fast to run).
To run at one constant speed, the speed reference needs to stay constant. In the absence of any speed reference, the drive will default to the Low Speed setting.
In the Simply Start menu, set Low speed to the desired constant speed. To prevent anything from giving a higher reference you could also set High speed = Low speed. Alternatively, you can assign both the Forward run and a Preset Speed to the same input to always have the drive run at the same speed.
