1.Issue
Once customer enables the print_char block to one port of BMXNOM0200 with character mode(without connection on this port), the print_char on the other port will stop working after 30sec.2.Environment
Issue only happens when NOM is on the BMxCRA312xx drop.3.Resolution
Set the ‘Immediate acknowledge bit’ of GEST variable to TRUE. Then, the NOM module will immediately answer to the input character request even if no character is available so that it will release the communication resources in time.(attached snapshot)4.FAQ Applicable Conditions
FAQ also applies to input_byte or input_char when using character mode on both ports & one portexperiences communication time out.
