Yes, the Control Expertsimulator can be started using the command line console. To do so, follow the steps below
- Using the command line, change the directory to the location of the simulator exe file ; sim.exe . The default destination directory of the PLC Simulator for Control Expert software installation is C:\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\Control Expert ••.•\PLC_Simulator\
- To start an instance of PLC Simulator with a specific port number, you can execute the command start sim /PORT<port number> in the Command Prompt console from the PLC Simulator installation folder. For example, start sim /port507 for the port 507.
