On the display of the ATV12 there are 3 red LEDs on the left hand side of the screen.
If these are scrolling from REF , MON , COM , it is indicating that the drive is in the local mode.
This means the drive is accepting the start stop buttons on the drive front and the dial as the reference.
This is entered by the MODE button being held down for 3 or more seconds.
To get back to the normal running mode you just hold the MODE button down for
3 seconds, the display will show REN which indicates that you are back in the remote mode.
