Are spacers required when DIN rail mounted contactors are installed in an enclosure?

In the case of multiple iCT contactors installed side by side, it is necessary to install a 9mm spacer ref.A9A27062 and apply a derating factor of 0.8 on the current.

This derating may be added to the current derating when the products are installed in an air ambient temperature >40°C - see table below from the global catalogue module.

For iCT+ contactors (included ref.A9C15030), the 9mm spacer is delivered with the product and it must be installed whatever the adjacent product - see below extract from the global catalogue module.

On these products it is not necessary to apply a derating coefficient of 0.8 to the current.

Please note that the ambient temperature for use of these products is -5 to +55°C.
