What is the operating and storage temperature of the "I" range (iSW) switches.

There are two types of "I" range switch (iSW Switches) they have different properties and temperature ranges.
The difference is the ISO Standard that the product is manufactured to comply with:

  • IEC/EN 60669
  • IEC/EN 60947-3

For 20-32A they comply with IEC/EN 60669
For 40-125A they comply with IEC/EN 60947-3

The operating temperature of I range switches is:-

  • For IEC/EN 60669 devices between - 20°C...+50°C without derating.
  • For IEC/EN 60947-3 devices -25...+60 °C without derating.


Their storage temperature must be:-

  • For IEC/EN 60669 devices between - 40...+100°C
  • For IEC/EN 60947-3 devices between -40...+85 °C
