Issue:
Save/open a program on the ATV61/ATV71, with the Keypad.

Cause:
Copying the current program into the remote Graphic (HMI) keypad

Resolution:



To Save:
From the Main Menu
Scroll down (Clockwise) to the Open/Save As.
Press Enter (push in on the knob) and then scroll down to Save As.
Press Enter.
The display will show 4 files and will indicate which ones are Used or Free.
Choose the file you want to use to store the current configuration and press enter.
NOTE; if this file was previously used, the old configuration will be replaced by the new one.
The keypad will show transfer in progress and will display DONE when complete.

To Open:
From the Main menu
Scroll down (Clockwise) to the Open/Save As.
Press Enter (push in on the knob) and select Open
Press Enter.
The display will show 4 files and will indicate which ones are Used or Free.
NOTE; Completing these steps will replace the program currently stored in the drive with the version stored in the keypad.
Choose the file that contains the file you want to transfer to the drive and press enter.
You can then select which Download Group you wish to download.
Choices are All, Drive Configuration, Motor Parameters, and Communication (see the ATV61/71 Programming manual for details on what parameters are contained in each group).
Press Enter on the Download Group and you'll be asked to confirm that the drive wiring is OK.  You should verify that the drive and it's associated machinery is in a safe mode and will not start when the new parameters are downloaded.  It is recommended to be sure none of the logic inputs are turned on (have 24VDC applied to them).
Once you are certain all is ready to proceed, press Enter to continue.
The keypad will show transfer in progress and will display DONE when complete.
