What is the maximum distance between the current transformer and the meter?
The maximum distance depends on the equipment you are using. the chosen CT must be able to supply enough power (VA) and still maintain the accuracy level (Class).
Attached file, helps choose the smallest size CT according to your choosen meter, CT and cable length. Please note that the cable length on this file is one way only (S1), the distance between CT and meter without the way back (S2).
The part number of the CT provided by the file must be checked against the mechanical sizes of cables/bars.
