What is the internal arc withstand for an RM6 cubicle?
RM6 switchgear has been designed to withstand the impact of an internal arc. Stainless steel tanks and cable boxes are fully internal arc rated according to standard IEC 62271-200. If a RM6 cubicle is equipped with a special LRU (internal arc Reduction Unit) “filter”, internal arc classification IAC is AFLR 20kA 1s.
