How can we help you today?
Is it possible to mount a Harmony XB5/ZB5 head on a pendant control station ranges XACA and XACB?

XACA range: It is not possible to mount a ZB5 head on an XACA pendant control station. Only the dedicated XACA**** booted operators and ZA2B type pushbuttons, switches and pilot lights can be used with the XACA pendant control stations.

This is because the ZB5 range has not been designed for use with the specific contact blocks used in the XACA pendant (e.g. ZB2BE101, ZB2BE102, XENG****).

XACB range: The XB5 range has not been adopted and ZA2 operators and specific contacts are still used in these enclosures. Therefore, the declaration of conformity for this range only covers compatibility between XACB and ZA2.

XACB are essentially hollow enclosures, so it is likely possible to physically fit complete XB5 plastic operators and bodies inside. However there is no declaration of conformity covering compatibility between these ranges, and we cannot guarantee performance levels such as impact resistance should the operator drop or bash the pendant.

For more information, please contact your local support.

XACF and XACM ranges: We no longer sell these ranges, however, generally speaking they follow the same principles as the XACB range.

Note: It is not possible to mount contact blocks ZB2BE101 from the old ZB2 (XB2) range or the ZA2 (XA2) range on heads in the current Harmony ZB4 (XB4) metal or ZB5 (XB5) plastic range.
