How do I find the full part number or coil voltage for a Tesys D Contactor?

For the Tesys D contactor coils, there are three formats; the AC control coil, the DC control coil, and Tesys Green Electronic coils (only available on certain models).

  • For the DC control coil and for the Green Electronic coils, the full part number - including the suffix - is on the front of the contactor e.g. LC1D09BD or LC1D25BNE
  • For the AC control coil the start of the part number is on the front, but the coil voltage suffix is in a window on the top face near the back (assuming the contactor is panel mounted). This is because the coil in the AC control contactors can be changed.

Below is a video showing the location of the part number on example DC and AC control voltage contactors.

NOTE: There are generations of Tesys D contactors with slightly different designs (colour, curved edges etc.). The principle of locating the coil voltage and constructing the part number is the same regardless of the generation.
