Does the Sepam Relay Series 20, 40, 60 and 80 use the same communication protocol as the Sepam 1000 Digital Relay (DR)?
The Digital Relay (DR) Sepam 1000 communicates with a protocol called Power Logic (Sy-Max).
The Sepam 20, 40, 60 & 80 uses Modbus RTU, an Industry standard protocol developed by Modicon. These two relays cannot communicate on the same daisy chain. A device such as ethernet gateway can interface the two protocols for a common host.
