Does the Sepam Relay Series 20, 40, 60 and 80 use the same communication protocol as the (ANSI) Digital relay (DR)?
The Digital Realy (DR) (Sepam 1000 Americanized) communicates with a protocol called Power Logic (Sy-Max).
The Sepam 20, 40, 60 & 80 uses Mod-Bus RTU, an Industry standard protocol developed by Modicon. These two relays cannot communicate on the same daisy chain. A device such as EGX, ethernet gateway, can interface the two protocols for a common host.
