Is it possible to power a Can-Open slave threw the SubD9pnt connector of the BMECXM0100?
Description of the problem:
Customers need to know if it's possible to power a can-Open slave connected to the BMECXM0100 master threw the 9-Pin D-SUB Connector?

Here is the Can-Open connector pin assignment of the BMECXM0100 coupler.

We don't provide any specification of an external power supply available on the 9-Pin D-SUB Connector.
The CiA standard reserve pins of CAN connector for power supply but only for transceiver and opto-couplers of physical layer (CiA DR303-1).

Solution:
For providing a power distribution to slaves, a TAP shall have to be add with a possibility to supply the 24V for the power distribution. So you'll have to add an external power supply connected to the TAP.
