Resolution:
User needs to install EcoStruxure Control Expert 15.1 or higher version and choose the CPU version as SV3.20 or higher in hardware configuration .
Select the check box to enable this feature. The communication module doubles the timeout setting by increasing the number of re-transmissions to 6 (instead of the typical setting of 3).
Here is one demo wireshark trace when M580 reset the TCP connection after 6 times TCP retransmissions without receiving the response of ModbusTCP server device after Gateway/Bridge Device option is selected.
