PM5000 Series with relay configuration in ION setup (load shedding)
This FAQ is if you want to be able to set the alarm at a certain overcurrent rating which then triggers the relay to open a breaker for load shedding. ONLY FOR METERS WITH RELAY
Follow below Download ION setup from website - Search = ION SETUP and download exe.
Open ION setup , create site and meter device, then select device.
- Configure the meter in ION setup.
- Select the Alarming section
- From the Alarming -> Standard->Edit
- Then standard Alarm setup-> select the Alarm parameter->Over Phase Voltage->Enable set all the required parameters.
- Click on Outputs-> Alarm Association section-? check on the respective relay
- Refer to the below screen shot order.
Send the configuration to the device
It associate as below refer to the screen shot, this will confirm the assignment, You can modify the timing for ON time of the relay
