The factory installed padlock attachment for legacy P-frame breakers was cat. # PAPAF and was ordered factory installed by suffix PL. Compatible circuit breaker types with PAPAF are PA, PC, PH, PX, PE, SPA, SPC, and SPH.
However, the PAPAF (suffix PL) accessory and the legacy P frame breakers that used the PL suffix are OBSOLETE with no replacements. The legacy P frame breaker came standard with a handle padlock attachment. The PAPAF adds another level of security and meets EUSERC requirement in California. If an extra level of security is required, it may be necessary to upgrade to an R-frame breaker.
