Terminal lug data
Resolution:
The 400amp Heavy Duty Safety Switches will accept (1) 1/0 AWG - 750 kcmil Al/Cu OR (2) 1/0-300kcmil Al/Cu conductors per phase. The Lug conductor(or wire) temperature rating is 75 degree C.
With the exception of the following;
Maximum wire bending space for the Type 4/4X/5 Stainless Steel and Type 12 Switches will allow for (1) 600kmcil Al/Cu or (2) 300kcmil Al/Cu conductors per phase.
NOTE: The only alternate lugs are compression lugs and they do NOT allow for any different wire size or quantity than what is shown above.
