What is the cylinder lock for circuit breakers?

Issue:
What does the cylinder lock do for legacy circuit breakers?

Product Line:
Legacy Molded Case Circuit Breakers

Resolution:
It is a key lock that fits into the front cover. With a key, you can lock the breaker in the TRIPPED position. A key cylinder lock prevents the circuit breaker from being RESET or turned ON. Cylinder locks cannot be used to lock the breaker in the ON position. The cylinder lock key can be removed in the UNLOCKED or LOCKED OFF position. They are all keyed alike, and are not suitable for interlocking.
