Older Sorgel Transformers
Resolution:
Some very old Sorgel/Square D Ventilated Transformers had enclosures that were different in size than those used on newer Transformers. Unfortunately, these obsolete enclosure types do not have Weathershields available from SquareD/Schneider Electric, even though the catalog number may be the same for both old and new Transformers, i.e. 75T3H, etc. Before ordering a Weathershield, measure the width of the older Transformer and be sure it is the same as the width of the current enclosure and corresponding weathershield as listed in the Digest.
