Yes, in some cases, the EZM branch devices can be mounted on either the left or right side of a main device. BUT there are some mounting restrictions depending on the main device ampere rating and the catalog number of the EZM main. Refer to the EZM instructions that come with all the EZM main devices. Also, see note below.
NOTE: The main devices rated through 800 A may have branch devices mounted to either side. Main devices rated 1000 or 1200 A must be center mounted when used with branch devices with 800 A cross bus. Main devices rated 1000 or 1200 A may have branch devices with 1200 A cross bus mounted to either side. Main devices rated 1600 A must be center mounted in all cases. Main devices rated 2000 A must be center mounted in ALL cases and requires the use of branch devices having 1200 A horizontal cross bus.
