How do the Micrologic trip units respond to harmonic loads?

Resolution:
The Micrologic trip units sample the current waveform to provide true RMS sensing and protection through the 15th harmonic.

Harmonic trip units measure FFT (fast fourier transform) of odd harmonics up to 31st harmonic (percentage of RMS value with respect to RMS value of the fundamental).

Beyond this, the trip units cannot accurately monitor current, so protection is not guaranteed and nuisance tripping is likely.
