What exactly does "semi-flush" mean in regards to combination service entrance devices? Can any CSEDs be fully flush mounted?
Issue:
Product Installation

Product Line:
Combination Service Entrance Devices

Resolution:
The term "semi-flush" refers to an enclosure partially mounting within a wall structure. Therefore the enclosure is neither surface (mounted ON the wall) nor flush (mounted completely IN the wall) mounted. A mounting flange around the sides and top is attached to the wall studs. There is no option for fully flush mounting the combination service entrance devices.

NOTE: Semi-Flush Devices CANNOT be Surface Mounted, due to part of the enclosure being indoor rated.
