The EZMK devices use a meter socket that is called a K-base socket. This means that the watt-hour meter BOLTS into place.
The EZML devices use a meter socket that is called an S-base socket. This means that the watt-hour meter PLUGS into jaws of the socket.
NOTE: It is ALWAYS IMPORTANT to check with the local electric utility company for approval, BEFORE obtaining and installing metering equipment.
