Cause:
Need for dissipation of heat generated by the Transformer
Resolution:
Required clearances are dictated by applicable industry standards. Panel builders build to UL508. Additionally, it is the responsiblity of the panel builder to insure that the 24 hour average ambient temperature around the Transformer (within the enclosure) that does not exceed 30C, with a maximum ambient temperature which does not exceed 40C.
