Cause:
Overcurrent protection is often required for Industrial Control Transformers
Resolution:
For the 208V primary, 1A fuses are recommended, with a maximum rating of 1.20A permitted using the 250% rule of NEC450.3. Please note the fuses are to be 600V maximum, 1-1/2 x 13/32`` Class CC rejection type, time delay fuses (Bussmann Type FNQ-R or equivalent). Qty (2) are required. On the 120V secondary side, a 1.25A fuse is recommended, with a maximum rating of 1.39A permitted according to the 167% rule of NEC 450.3. Provisions are for qty (1) fuse, which must be 1-1/2 x 13/32``, non-rejection type fuse (Bussmann type FNQ or equivalent).
