Can you use the GV2 manual protectors on DC voltage?

Resolution:

GV2 cannot be used in DC application due to the low capacity of breaking. In short circuit condition, GV2 will be damaged due to the low break capacity

In DC application, we strongly recommend our customer can use fuse for short circuit protection association with LRD for overload protection.

It is also necessary to remind that the DC ratings shown in LC1D catalog are NOT UL ratings. Per label they are only rated for AC circuits.
