On December 31, 2007 Schneider Electric announced the discontinuation of production for the The Wiggyﾮ Voltage Tester and Accessories.
The Wiggy Voltage Tester, backed by the Square Dﾮ brand, was in production for over 90 years and provided a simple, yet effective way to perform routine general purpose tests for residential, commercial and industrial circuits.
Schneider Electric has ceased manufacturing of all Wiggy Voltage Testers and Accessories due to an increasing competitive market and mandated upgrades by third-party certification agencies that make production of these products cost prohibitive.
After stock is depleted, the following catalog numbers will be obsolete: 6610VT1, 6610VT1S, 6610L2, 6610PC1, 6610P1, 6610P1S.
