Resolution:
For remote indication, assign one of the relays to the "run" function.  The relay is energized when the bypass contactor is closed.  The relay dry contact can be used in a control circuit for the remote indication.

For local indication, check the RUN indicator LED just above the integral display.  The yellow LED will be continuously ON when the internal bypass contactor is closed.
