What does an F40 or an F60 suffix on the end of a D-frame breaker indicate?
Issue:
Define F40 or an F60 suffix on a D-frame breaker

Product Line:
Molded Case Circuit breakers

Resolution:
F40 and F60 suffixes indicate a breaker frame (400 A or 600 A) with no trip unit. This breaker could be mounted and wired, and the trip unit could then be chosen and installed at a later date.
This breaker is now obsolete; cross to a Powerpact L frame, which also has frame only option.
