How often does a GPS time sync an ION meter?

The meter uses every fifth GPS time sync packet received over comms for time syncing. After the GPS locks, the meter will perform a time set if:
1. the time has drifted more than one millisecond
2. the time since the last time sync is greater than the product of twice the average time between time syncs for the previous five time syncs.

If the drift was less than 1 second, the time sync is not recorded in the meter event log (minor adjustment). If the time drift is greater than 1 second, the time sync will be recorded in the meter event log (major adjustment).
