Cause
The ION7650 doesn't have Ethernet capability.
Resolution
With the release of the v350 firmware, the ION7650 was equipped with a new Ethernet card capable of 10BASE-T / 100BASE-TX, compared to 10BASE-T in the previous versions. This is done to ensure compatibility with high speed networks. This has no effect on the communication speed of the device itself as the limitation is coming from the CPU board and not from the card. All new meters ordered after January 1, 2008 will include the new communication card.
Meters including 10BASE-FL Fiber option (order number "F0" and "D1") will include a 10BASE-T Ethernet card only.
Meters with the 100BASE-FX option (order numbers "F1" and "D7") include a 100BASE-TX Ethernet.
