Issue
Default IP address and login information unknown to login to the webpage and FTP server of PM5000 series meter.
Also if default administrative password is lost how to perform a rest of the password.

Resolution
The default IP address is 169.254. 0.10
The default Subnet Mask is 255.255.0.0

Default login accounts:
- The meter has a set of default login credentials to access the front display, the webpages and ftp server.

The following login credentials are configured by default:

For PM5000 model and firmware versions below:

1. PM5560 / PM5562 / PM5563 / PM5580 meter models, and firmware v4.0.0 and above
2. PM5570 / PM5660 / PM5760 meter models, and firmware v6.0.0 and above
3. PM5650 meter model, and firmware v4.10.0 and above
4. PM5561 meter model, and firmware v12.0.0 and above
5. PM5661 / PM5761 meter models, and firmware v14.0.0 and above
6. PM5570L / PM5660L / PM5760L meter models, and firmware v6.0.0 and above

A. To navigate the front display for configuration, default credentials are:

• Username: it does not request a username
• Default password: 0000

B. To navigate the Webpages and the FTP/FTPS

B1. Webpages and FTP/FTPS

• Username: Administrator
• Default Password: MAC address which is unique for each Meter. Enter the MAC address of the meter without colon in capital letters (For example: if the MAC address of the meter is 00:80:f4:02:14:38, then password is 0080F4021438), which forced to change the default password for system security the first time you log in.

B2. Webpages

• Username: Guest
• Default Password: Powerlogic@1, but it's recommended to change the default password for system security the first time you log in.

If you don't know your firmware version, navigate to Maint > Diag > Info on the meter's display to find it.

NOTE: More information on User Groups can be obtained from FA291653

If the administrative password is lost, follow these steps to perform a password reset. This will unfortunately delete any customizations and data associated with the meter.

1. Go to the front panel display for the meter.
2. Navigate to the Maint section for the meter and select.
3. Select the Reset option.
4. Move to User Acc Resets and select.
5. Enter the meter passcode (default is "0").
6. Press Yes to confirm you want to reset the accounts for the meter or No if you would like to back out.
