Resolution:
The ATV340 is part of the Altivar Machine range of variable speed drives from Schneider Electric.  The range includes the ATV320 and ATV340 models.  These are designed to handle sophisticated automation architectures and demanding applications without adding to overhead.

The variable speed drives enhance motor control performance by reducing application task cycle time (1 ms) in synchronous, asynchronous, servo and reluctance motors. The ATV320 allows open-loop control of speed and torque while the ATV340 allows open and closed-loop control of speed, torque and position.
