Issue:
Using the Configuration tool with Windows 8 or Windows 10, where it does not recognize the device and the device drivers.

Installations that use the configuration tool to perform upgrades or changes to the XW/XW+ or Conext SW series hybrid inverter/charger.
Cause:
When using Windows 8 or Windows 10, the computer does not recognize the configuration tool and its associated device driver
Resolution:
If using Windows 8 or Windows 10, you need to disable the driver signature first before uploading the device drivers. You can do a google search or look in youtube and type in “Disabling driver signature for (Windows 8 or Windows 10). Once you disable the driver signature you can then install the device driver and then the computer will recognize the configuration tool driver.
