Breaker specification to protect equipment
Resolution:
The SDSA1175/SDSA1175T comes with #14 wire. You can connect it three different ways.
1) You can connect to a existing breaker feeding another load if lug terminals will accommodate multiple conductors.
2) You can connect to a dedicated 20A breaker.
3) You can direct bus connect because it is a Type 1 device. Type 1 SPD can be connected with or without an overcurrent protection device.
