Video: Installing PK4DTIM4HA manual transfer kit in high amp QO™ load centers

How does the PK4DTIM4HA Manual Transfer kit install into the proper QO™, Single phase, 150-225A Max. convertible mains, load centers?

Resolution:
The PK4DTIM4HA manual transfer kit can only be used with QO, Series S__, convertible mains load centers, rated 150 - 225 A MAXIMUM.
The PK4DTIM4HA is used to secure two adjacent, QO 2-pole branch circuit breakers WITHOUT electrical accessories in positions 2-4 and 6-8(right side) of the interior when used as a Back-Fed Main Breakers.
The kit includes (1) retaining bracket, (1) interior mounting screw, (1) QO2DTI Mechanical Interlock kit and (1) Wiring diagram label.
The retaining bracket will mount over the face of the back-fed branch breakers and get secured using the single interior mounting screw that comes with the kit.
NOTE: QO-GFI and QO-AFI branch circuit breakers are NOT suitable for use as back-fed main circuit breakers.

The attached video is ONLY to supplement the INSTRUCTIONS that come with the kit. PLEASE make sure to read the instructions and all the below Safety Information that is located in the instructions BEFORE working on any electrical equipment.

Danger label

Make sure to turn OFF ALL Power supplying the equipment and verify the power is OFF using a properly rated voltage sensing device, BEFORE working on or with electrical equipment.
1) Once all Safety steps are followed, begin the kit installation by following the instructions.
2) Remove and discard the captive interior mounting screw (A) from the interior (Refer to Figure 2 of the instructions for Screw (A) location.
3) Install the appropriate QO adjacent back-fed branch breakers ONLY in positions 2-4 and 6-8(See the load center directory label)
NOTE: DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM AMPERE RATING OF THE LOAD CENTER
4) Install the mechanical interlock kit, catalog number QO2DTI(included). Refer to Figure 1, Steps a-c below)
a. Hook the interlock Tab (A) into the slot located at the lug end of the circuit breaker in positions 2-4.
b. Press the interlock down against the circuit breaker face to correctly align interlock Tab (B). Use a screwdriver to rotate Tab(B) into the slot located under the ON Position of the circuit breaker.
c. Attach the identification labels(Generator and Utility Supply) to identify the back-fed circuit breakers as required.
5) Center the retaining bracket (Figure 2) over the adjacent back-fed circuit breakers. Hook interlock Tab (C) into the slot located at the lug end of the second circuit breaker. Press down against the face of the retaining bracket to seat it against the back-fed circuit breakers.
6) Secure the retaining bracket to the base with the new interior mounting screw (B) (Figure 2).  Torque the screw to 35 lb-in (4 N-m). Refer to Figure 3 to view a complete installation.
7) Attach the wiring diagram label that comes in the kit, to the inside of the device or to the back of the cover.
