How long does it take for an Altivar Process Drive (ATV630/ATV930) to accept a run command after receiving line power?
Resolution:
After line power is applied, the ATV630 and ATV930 require approximately 3 seconds to complete its power-up sequence and accept a run command.
When designing the control sequence, allow at least 3 seconds after applying line power before expecting the drive to respond to a run command and begin drawing motor current.
For applications where startup timing is critical, this delay should be considered in the control system or PLC sequence.
