Calibration Procedure for GP10 accutech field unit
  1. We always recommend the field unit to be zeroed first before installing.
How to P ZERO the GP10 Accutech Field unit:
Zeroing the field unit can only be done from the field unit. Field units are sensitive devices; their elevation and orientation in the field may be different from the orientation in the factory where they received their last configuration. To compensate for position changes, you may need to zero the field unit after it is installed.
If you have a field unit pressure reading of zero, (that is, the field unit reading is within the specified accuracy of ±0.1% of the full scale value when zero pressure is applied), there is no need to zero the sensor.
To zero the field unit:
1.With the field unit installed in its final position, power it on and apply zero pressure.
2.If an offset has been applied, clear it before zeroing the field unit.
Zeroing the sensor causes the field unit to read "0" even if there are offsets configured. A sensor alert may occur when you zero a field unit, especially with long sample times. This merely indicates the device has not yet made a valid measurement.
3.Navigate to the P ZERO menu, following the Field Unit Menu Map. Go to Configuration Menu Map>PZERO
4.Select YES? and then select ENTER; the sensor is zeroed.
5.Press ENTER and NEXT together to return to the Operations Sequence.
The field unit should now show ± 0.1% of the full scale value of the field unit.
To clear the current P Zero offset:
1.Navigate to the P ZERO menu, following the Field Unit Menu Map.
2.Press NEXT. No? is displayed.
3.Press NEXT. The CLEAR? option is displayed.
4.Press ENTER. The current P ZERO offset is cleared.
  1. You have 22 points that you can calibrate the unit and you can only do this using accutech manager.
  1. Open Accutech Manager
  2. Find the field units that you want to calibrate and then double click on the unit.
  3. A window will appear and then click to configuration
  4. A properties Window will appear then select sensor offset folder
  5. Enable Sensor Offset Curve
  6. Enter number of Pairs of Values (maximum 22 points)
  7. Enter Actual Value then Enter Indicated value (seen on the display of the Field unit)
  8. See sample below.

Let’s say for example, it’s a 1000 PSI GP10
You probably want to P zero it first and make sure the 22 point curve is disabled first.
Apply a fixed value say 250 PSI (25% off full scale) and note that the unit reads 248.5 PSI
Apply a fixed value say 500 PSI (50% off full scale) and note that the unit reads 498.0 PSI
Apply a fixed value say 750 PSI (75% off full scale) and note that the unit reads 747.5 PSI
Apply a fixed value say 1000 PSI (full scale) and note that the unit reads 996.0 PSI

In Accutech Manager, select Number of Pairs of Value   = 5
