Can Buck Boost Transformers be used as isolation Transformers supplying low voltage such as 12V, 16V, 24V or 32V?

Small Isolation Transformers with Low Voltage secondaries are often needed in certain applications

Resolution:

Yes. The `S43` series of Buck & Boost Transformers can be used for 120 - 12, 120 - 24, 240 - 12 or 240 -24 voltage applications. The `S46` series of Buck & Boost Transformers can be used for 120 - 16, 120 - 32, 240 - 16 or 240 - 32 voltage applications.  The `S82` series of Buck & Boost Transformers can be used for  240 - 24, 240 - 48, 480 - 24 or 480 -48 voltage applications.  In these applications, the nameplate kVA of the Buck & Boost Transformer must be equal to or greater than the load kVA. Connection instructions for this application are on the Transformer nameplate.
