Can a key interlock be used on an I-line panel with a vertically mounted main breaker?

Issue:
Do we have an interlock for I-line vertically mounted main breakers and a branch breaker?

Vertically mounted main breakers in I-line panelboards

Resolution:
No.  All I-Line key interlocked breakers must be located in the branch portion of the I-line panel between a backfed main and a branch breaker.  A special mounting bracket is used to mount the interlock.  There isn`t a location for this bracket with a vertically mounted main breaker application.
