What class of fuse does the D222N, D222NRB, D322N, and D322NRB general duty safety switches accept?

Resolution:
These switches accept class H or K fuses as standard. For design series F01, options include class R fuses (field install class R fuse kit RFK03H). With class H or K fuses installed, the switch is UL listed for use on systems with up to 10,000 RMS symmetrical amperes available fault current. With class R fuses (and RFK03H fuse kit installed), the switch is UL listed for use on systems with up to 100,000 RMS symmetrical amperes available fault current.

NOTE: DO NOT USE RENEWABLE LINK FUSES IN SQUARE D SAFETY SWITCHES. The use of renewable link fuses may adversely affect user safety, impair reliability, and will void the warranty.
