These switches accept class H or K fuses as standard. For series E1, E2, or E3, options include class R fuses (field install class R fuse kit DRK30). With class H or K fuses installed, the switch is UL listed for use on systems with up to 10 kA available fault current. With class R fuses, the switch is UL listed for use on systems with up to 100 kA available fault current.
NOTE: DO NOT USE RENEWABLE LINK FUSES IN SQUARE D SAFETY SWITCHES. The use of renewable link fuses may adversely affect user safety, impair reliability and will void the warranty.
