How does a 2 stage limit switch work?

Issue:
Understanding the functionality of a 9007 type C 2 stage limit switch

Product Line:
Limit Switches

Environment:
9007C Limit Switches

Resolution:
The limit switch contains 2 sets of contacts. As the actuator moves from ``At Rest`` to ``Full Travel``, the first set of contacts actuate, then the second set follow sequentially. As the actuator returns to its initial position, the second set of contacts, ``Stage 2``, return to their at rest position, then ``Stage 1`` contacts follow. Actuation movement may be stopped or reversed during operation, with contacts reflecting the relative position of the actuator.
