Heavy Duty Safety Switches
Resolution:
All the 100 A heavy duty safety switches accept class H or K fuses as standard. Options include class R fuses (field install class R fuse kit) and class J fuses (field relocate the fuse base assembly to alternate position marked in the enclosure). With class H or K fuses installed, the switches are UL/CSA listed for use on systems with up to 10 kA available fault current. With class R or J fuses installed, the switches are UL/CSA listed for use on systems with up to 200 kA available fault current.
NOTE: DO NOT USE RENEWABLE LINK FUSES IN SQUARE D SAFETY SWITCHES. The use of renewable link fuses may adversely affect user safety, impair reliability and will void the warranty.
