Should the primary phase conductor currents on a Three Phase Low Voltage Dry Transformer under no load be equal in magnitude on each of the three feed conductors?

Issue:
Unloaded primary phase currents on a three phase transformer

Product Line:
LV Transformers

Environment:
Applies to Low Voltage Transformers by SquareD/Schneider Electric

Cause:
Core dynamics of a three phase transformer

Resolution:
No. Due to the dynamics of the magnetic flux within the three legged core, two of the incoming phase conductor currents will be similar and the third will be typically 40 to 60% higher than the other two. This does not negatively impact the Transformer in any way, rather it is simply the normal state of an unloaded three coil, three legged core Transformer.
