The current design (designated as Series 001) does have an LED indicating light. The obsolete design (same catalog number, not designated by a Series number) did not have LED indicators. The indicating light requires 208Vac-240Vac, phase to phase, for operation. Therefore, the LED will not light when the unit is applied to a 120Vac, 2-wire circuit, although the unit may be functional.
