How to fix SAFF fault code on Altivar process drives?
Resolution:
-Remove the factory jumper from terminals P24, STOA, and STOB.
-Verify that the jumper is not damaged, then reinstall it.
-Power cycle the VFD
If you are using external control wiring instead of the jumper:
-Ensure the contacts are closed.
-Confirm that you have 24 VDC at terminals STOA and STOB.
-Power cycle the VFD
If the code reappears after power cycling, try contacting Drives Technical Support for further troubleshooting.
