Can you use a USB C Cable with the TCSMCNAM3M002P and SoMove Software?

Issue:

Will a USB Type-C cable work with the TCSMCNAM3M002P when connecting to an AC Drive with SoMove Software?

Resolution:

Tested using using a Female to Female USB Adapter to connect a USB Cable to the TCSMCNAM3M002P Cable, you do get a Com Port Assignment; however, using the same adapter and a cable that is USB to USB C and connecting USB C to laptop, you do not get a Com Port Assignment.

This testing indicates that you can NOT use USB type-C with SoMove Software.
