YES, two or more ASCO transfer switches can be connected to a common generator and any transfer switch can start the generator.
The generator start wires must be connected to the “engine start contacts” of one of the transfer switches. Then, the “engine start contacts” of each transfer switches must be connected in PARALLEL.
In this configuration, using the sample diagrams below, any of the transfer switches that loses its primary power, and closes its start contacts in the process, will send a start signal to the generator.
