Installation of HEPD25, HEPD50, HEPD80 to Two Single Pole Circuit Breakers
To install an HEPD25, HEPD50 or HEPD80 to two single pole circuit breakers it is recommended that those circuit breakers be adjacent to each other. This is because each circuit breaker must be connected to separate phases. See illustration below.
NOTE 1: If the two single pole circuit breakers are installed on each side of the panel buss (Ex: The two top circuit breaker positions), those breakers will only be connected to one phase and not the other.
NOTE 2: For ease of installation, and to avoid using two single poe circuit breakers, we recommend a 20A or 30A two pole circuit breaker.
